Gifted Education
I am the gifted support teacher for grades K-5.
Students in the gifted program will complete one or more projects per year. I, along with parents, act as a coach for students and provide them with assistance, support, and advice along the way.
At the end of the year, students present their favorite project to a panel of teachers and administrators during a presentation and interview.
During the year students in the gifted program take part in other enrichment activities such as:
-Character Education
-Super Star Math
-Thinking Cap Quiz Bowl competitions (grades 4 and 5)
-National Geographic Bee (grades 4 and 5)
-A variety of brain teasers and critical thinking games and puzzles
