Hello Apollo-Ridge Elementary School Families! We have arranged for Friday, May 29, 2020, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, to have a day that families can pick up personal belongings from the elementary school. Families can pick up the personal belongings that the teachers have bagged from the classrooms. We will also be sending home summer work packets at this time. These packets are normally given to students on step-up day. They are not mandatory, but meant to give them some academic engagement over the summer. If you have library books at home, we will collect them on this day as well. We ask that all families follow the traffic pattern that will be set in the elementary parking lot. No one is to exit their cars and we ask that all social distancing protocols are followed. When you pull up to the circle, a staff member will ask for the name of your child. This will be radioed into a staff member in the foyer. The materials will be delivered to your car. If you are picking up material for another family, please have a note from the family that permits you to pick up the material for their child. If you do not have a note, we will not distribute belongings for another child to you. If you can’t pick up your child’s belongings on May 29, 2020, you will be able to pick up materials after June 18,2020. We ask that you call the elementary office prior to arriving to ensure the office is open to retrieve your child’s personal belongings. We greatly miss our students and hope that or families are doing well.

A-R's no longer dropping meals at North Apollo. Owens Field from 11-Noon. Apollo-Ridge is re-organizing the meal delivery schedule not only for efficiency, but also to try to limit interactions and promote social distancing as suggested during the pandemic. Though the number of days food is delivered is less, the number of meals per family is the same. We also added an additional drop-off location. We hope that this is helpful to families and helps reduce the distance and frequency of having to pick up meals. Beginning Monday, March 30, distributions will be on Monday and Thursday. Monday’s distribution will be one hot lunch, two cold lunches, and three breakfasts. Thursday’s distribution will be one hot lunch, one cold lunch and two breakfasts. The locations and times are 11 am to 12:30 pm at the High School; 11 am to Noon at 2nd Street/Owens Field; 11:15 to 11:30 am at Iselin Volunteer Fire Company; and 11:50 to 12:10 pm at Coal Run Fire Department.
