Apollo-Ridge meal distribution changes due to holiday: 2 meals this Thursday, April 9; 2 meals next Tuesday, April 14; and 2 meals next Thursday, April 16.


Apollo-Ridge is re-organizing the meal delivery schedule not only for efficiency, but also to try to limit interactions and promote social distancing as suggested during the pandemic. Though the number of days food is delivered is less, the number of meals per family is the same. We also added an additional drop-off location. We hope that this is helpful to families and helps reduce the distance and frequency of having to pick up meals.

Beginning Monday, March 30, distributions will be on Monday and Thursday. Monday’s distribution will be one hot lunch, two cold lunches, and three breakfasts. Thursday’s distribution will be one hot lunch, one cold lunch and two breakfasts.
The locations and times are
11 am to 1 pm at the High School;
11 am to 11:30 am at 2nd Street/Owens Field;
11:50 to 12:10 pm at Elderton Bank North Apollo;
11:15 to 11:30 am at Iselin Volunteer Fire Company; and
11:50 to 12:10 pm at Coal Run Fire Department.

PIE Day!

A picture is worth a thousand words! Please enjoy the pictures from one of our culminating projects organized for our PIE Project. The entire student body made individual no-bake pies! A HUGE shout out to Mrs. King, Mrs. Kutch, Ms. Kraemer, Ms. Manofsky, and Ms. Reilly for pulling this all together for the staff and students!

Lunch Options Next Week

There will be no salad options for lunches next week (Tuesday 3/17/20 & Thursday 3/19/20).

Calling All Superheroes!

The ARES PTA has organized the Omegaman Assembly on March 9, 2020 for our students. The assembly is a fun-filled message of character education, motivation, inspiration, and hope! Students are encouraged to wear their favorite superhero t-shirt to get into the spirit of this assembly! As always, be sure that what is worn to school adheres to our dress code policy.
