I began teaching at Apollo-Ridge Elementary in 1999 as the Life Skills teacher. During the 2019-2020 school year, I taught 4th & 5th grade Reading. In 2020, I transitioned to the secondary buildings at A-R, where I taught Middle School and High School Life Skills for the next four years. In 2024, I returned to the A-R Elementary where I started the Autistic Support classroom and continue to serve as the Autistic Support teacher to this day. Additionally, I have served the district as its Safety Care trainer, instructing staff in de-escalation and crisis prevention strategies, for the past 12 years.
