Biography:
I have taught in the Apollo-Ridge School District since graduating from IUP 25 years ago. My first 21 years, were spent at the elementary (20 years as the Life Skills teacher, and one year as a 4th/5th grade reading teacher), and, over the last four years, I have taught Life Skills at the Middle and High Schools. I am now returning to the elementary to implement the Autistic Support program. Additionally, I have been the Safety Care trainer for the school district for the past nine years; teaching crisis prevention and intervention strategies to district employees.
