Individualized Math Practice Games

The students use the following websites in class as part of their skill practice .  Students have accounts in which they can log on and practice math skills in the following games:

Freckle - www.freckle.com

Freckle has over 30,000+ math questions and 500+ ELA articles each at 5 different reading levels, covering all K-8 standards. Students start off with a diagnostic test, and the algorithms show them problems exactly at their skill level. This ensures students are always engaged and challenged, never facing material that is too difficult or too easy for them.  Students will be given login information as well as having it posted in the classroom.  Each student's login will be different.

Rocekt math is a program that allows students to practice their math fact fluency in less than 10 minutes.  Once they complete all learning track levels, they will be done with the program.

Prodigy is a free, adaptive math game for grades 1-7 that integrates Common Core or Ontario math into a role-playing game using a Pokemon-style wizardry theme. As they play, question difficulty is increased or decreased depending upon their answers and facility with the skills.
